Chambers of Commerce support business; Chambers of Commerce are typically very conservative and oppose regulation. Although there are some lights in the tunnel, like with the Sustainability Committee at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. But right now the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is fighting hard against the validity of climate change… and all that just to keep business-as-usual for the biggest polluters.
