Especially in times of economic troubles, we need to look for opportunities. There are opportunities all around us for energy and water conservation, and efficiencies – and subsequent cost savings. There are opportunities to choose more wisely in purchasing, and in reducing waste. We are at a crossroads. We can change the way that we value natural resources, human resources, and come up with a better model. We can move forward with a more thoughtful plan.

“Some of the most successful restaurants in the city have aligned with a philanthropic cause or are touting organic and local ingredients in their menus,” says Darrin Johnson, New Leaf’s director of strategic initiatives. Soon his restaurant will unveil a branding campaign centered on the fact that the restaurant buys from local farmers.

Stimulus – Green Collar Jobs

Governor Schwarzenegger just announced a new $75 Million Green Jobs Training Program.  Due to previous “green jobs investments” in California,  there has already been a growth in new businesses and jobs in the clean Green sector.  This new Jobs Training will continue to provide for the workforce demand.  Check it Out!
